But enough with this sad talk.
Yesterday I thought about all the stuff I made before and for Christmas, and people I gotta tell ya, I feel like the friggen Paula Deen of Germany because of all the butter I used.
Just for Christmas I made a Red Velvet( I'm drooling just thinking about it, it's my favorite cake), a German Cheesecake and some cupcakes.
Plus I think I used about 100000000000 eggs, because my family(especially my brothers) is weirdly addicted to egg nog.
Vegans must hate me.
Actually I also wanted to post some pictures of the christmas preparations, but it was all so hectic that I didn't have any time.
I think tomorrow I will post some photos of my Red Velvet cake. I made some fondant penguins as decoration.
Although this is a baking blog, I just had to share this cute photo of my pet rat Remy with you. My mom knitted the cap and scarf for him. It is just soo cute.
Now after the christmas feast we all had, I will post some healthier recipes. Like whole wheat breads or low sugar and low fat recipes, so that you still can enjoy baked good while working out.
I'll start with Bagels, which I made with Spelt flour instead of normal flour.

P.S. Is the weather in your country as bad as here in Germany. It's dark the whole day, it's stormy and just yucky outside.
