Baking Supply

I'm a passionate hobby baker, and I love to shop new baking supply and helpers, buuuuut here in Germany it is not easy to get good things.
We have a lot to learn from the Americans when it comes to baking supplies.

My biggest inspiration when it comes to baking are magazines and those awesome youtube videos some people make.
But to make those you need often time food color, piping bags, piping tips(for buttercream flowers etc.) pans, tins, brushes etc. And all of that stuff is expensive and some times really hard to get.
As for the food color. I know from experience that German food color is crappy, e.g. the first time I tried to make red velvet cupcakes they were pink!!! And I used 8!!! bottles of German food color.
So, of course I was positively surprised to see the selection of baking supply in America( when I was there the first time), and in a supermarket. So I started to look for good stuff in Germany and I looked, and looked, and looked. Until I found www.meincupcake.de. They have so much high quality stuff.
I love to use brands such as Wilton and Rainbow Dust.

For those who don't know what Wilton and Rainbow Dust are, here a short description.
Wilton: Wilton is an American baking supply brand, which produces high quality products that are worth their money. I love to use the Gel color to color fondant, marzipan and gum paste. Their baking pans, such as the Performance Pans are just great to work with. Also the piping tips and coupler from Wilton are amazing to work with.

Rainbow Dust: RD is an brand from the UK. They have also awesome Gel colors, and I prefer them over Wilton colors to color buttercream and batter, because they're in tubes rather then those little cans where you can only use toothpicks to get the color out like with Wilton.
Also RD produces edible glitter, and dust to color dry fondant flowers to give them character and depth.

If you know of any other baking supply internet shops, please, please let me know.

I hope you have much fun shopping and then baking and decorating.

XOXO Owlicious ;)
